"Therefore, take up the whole armor of God..."

“Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
(Ephesians 6:13)
The world in which we live seems to get darker by the day. The spirit of the anti-christ is running rampant with a permeating influence on government, schools, businesses, news media, entertainment, social media platforms, marriage and family. Notice what the apostle Paul said in verse 13: “that you may be able to withstand in the evil day’. In other words, God has provided us a way to withstand all that is going on around us and that comes against us. We don’t have to live in fear, be discouraged, depressed, or defeated. That which is true for us individually is true for us as Christians collectively. God’s Church can withstand in the evil day in which we live. We don’t have to cower in the corners - restricted and restrained by what is happening around us. Paul said that we may be able to withstand in the evil day (we are in that day, right now) and having done all TO STAND! So… where do we stand in this evil day?
We Are Standing On The Promised Provision Of Salvation Through Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God! Boldly-not arrogantly…but, boldly we stand on the unchanging truth that there is no salvation in any other but, Jesus and what He did on the Cross as payment for our sins (Acts 4:12). Our salvation is in Him. Our forgiveness is in Him. Our peace is in Him. Our hope is in Him. Our help is in Him!! We are not standing somewhere in the middle…somewhere on the fence of uncertainty…. we are standing on Christ and Christ alone. In a world that is becoming more and more intolerant of a Christ-professing and Christ-possessing Church, we must boldly stand!
We Are Standing On The Promises Of God’s Word! January 1, 2020 we entered a prophetic season of the last days’ events. Regardless of season, circumstance, or situation, we, as God’s people don’t have to live in fear or apprehension about what happens in our world or in our life. We stand on the promises of God that are solid, sure and certain. The promises of God stand: “Fear thou not for I am with thee, be not dismayed I am thy God, I will help you, I will strengthen you, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness!” Isaiah 41:10.
We Are Standing In The Presence Of God! The last words of Jesus to His disciples were: “And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world”. Hear me today, we are not standing alone - the Lord God Jehovah…. creator of this world, our Prince of Peace, our King of Kings stands with us… We Are Standing In The Presence Of God! No executive order, no governmental mandate or cultural pressure can change the fact that the Presence of God is on our right, and on our left. He who conquered death and holds the keys of death, Hell and the grave - HE is in front of us, and HE is behind us… of what shall we fear?—nothing! “Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day!”
