"A God Dream..."

Some people aim low and hit it every time. It’s our decisions, not our dilemma that determines our destiny. People of the Spirit… people of faith decide and determine to aim high. You weren’t born to lose….you were born to win!

Regardless of our past, regardless of our circumstance or situation, regardless of obstacle or opposition, we can pursue our God Dream with confidence and courage. Why?? Because...

1) Jehovah God is with us! Just before Jesus ascended to the right hand of the Father, He

told His disciples: “Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age”. It makes

a difference who is with you. God… the creator of this world, the Master of the

universe, the giver of life, the Eternal One is with us! You need not be timid and

reserve about your aim, for God is with you.

2) The Holy Spirit is in us! The same Spirit that filled and strengthened Jesus, to do

might works, is in us. “Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy

Spirit which is in you, which you have from God and ye are not your own.” ( I Cor. 6:19).

Jesus said that the Spirit of the Lord was on Him and anointed Him to preach, to heal,

to proclaim liberty and proclaim recovery, and to set at liberty. That same Spirit is

in us. We can aim high with confidence!

3) You have what it takes, in you, to accomplish the dream… the vision God has placed in your spirit. I’m not talking about natural ability to speak, to sing, administrate, lead or motivate. What I am talking about is faith…faith in God can accomplish more in a moment than any natural ability or talent. Jesus said, “Whatsoever ye ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive”. Faith and trust in God enables us to attempt the impossible. Aim high!

Moses led over three million people out of bondage. David defeated a giant. Joshua took

the walled city of Jericho. Elijah overcame depression and marched on in victory. Nehemiah rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem, in spite of ridicule and opposition. Paul turned the world upside down with the Gospel. God’s church has survived being mocked, maligned and misunderstood. God’s Church has survived depression, persecution, false doctrine, internal conflict and division. Aim high with confidence! Don’t drift… DREAM!
